When I woke up the Idaho Fall Fires brought in the smoke with them. the sun looked cool though :

No Goats, but fun hiking non the less :

I coughed all night because of the Smoke and Allergies and although I'd like to blame my wrinkle eyes on the smoke alone, I have to admit I'm aging as well.

Leaving tomorrow to try another spot and fingers crossed I can see something besides smoke :

It's opening weekend and I'm not bringing my gun. Think I'll regret it ? I have a habit of pulling the trigger so I thought it best to leave it at home not to get tempted. I want one with a nicer coat and I just don't think we're there yet.

Idaho does suck, only wolves left. Frank Church, Sawtooth, Challis Nation Forest
and the likes are like the Lion King plains after Scar took over.

Skeert arentcha! Hanging out your dingle berries won't do much to ward off woffs, but might get your bare but hauled in the pokey.

I knew I had forgotten something. It was to update you guys. It has been a terrible opening 2 weeks of the season. The opening 3 day weekend I was sick. I still managed to go out in the snow and see a goat. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it.

Since then I've had 2 deaths in the extended family and had to travel last weekend. I'll be out this Sat/Sunday taking a look-see. Hopefully I'll have something besides snow to show ya !!

Fella's, I'm a big disappointment in the goat story department. I skipped my goat hunting this weekend to help out a buddy pack out his elk. I still could have gone goat hunting but I was a little sore and had some other stuff to catch up on.

I don't want to steal his thunder more than I did on FB (Since OAK called me out, that bastage..... ) but I'll give you a peak and hopefully it doesn't shift my uninteresting goat story thus far.

Congrats IDBugler. I'm sure he'll put up a story when he gets some time.


We'll get back to the goat hunt this coming up weekend......
