he was 30" outside. As far as the gun, it's a QMM 300 win mag, this is the first season I've owned and love the gun. I can shoot milk jugs @ 1K and I got my deer at 80 yds! lol isn't that about the way it goes though. I was able to get a whitetail doe at 715 so at least It served it's purpose there.
