2013 - A year in pictures

My dad's first pronghorn. This is when we came to the realization that we should have done this a long time ago.

Jake and I on his New Mexico cow elk hunt. Didn't even see a cow, but did see 29 bulls, numerous deer with some nice bucks and had a great time.

My youngest son harvesting his first animal. Spot and stalk, followed up by a great shot. :)

My lab Bart and two of my three grandsons, Ryan and Evan, with a couple of ducks taken during one of the best seasons I have had in Montana. I'm looking forward to the day the boys can join me on more hunting trips.

Daughter's first turkey

Like others I have lots of good memories from 2013 but my favorite is from this spring when my 10 year old daughter took her first animal, a dandy gobbler with a borrowed .410 no less.

Too big to carry:

Old friends from high school, I'm the fat one on the left..
I hunt & fish with the guy in the back every year since we were 16, but the other two I haven't seen or talked to in decades. We got together this spring to do some camping, fishing and telling stories around the campfire, just like the old days. We plan to do a trip now, at least once a year

The first ram spotted after hunting 20+ days in the toughest country I've ever seen, humbled would be an understatement!

2013 has been a great year, and it was hard to pick just one picture.

I'll have to go with this one though.

My wife's opening morning cow that we were able to include the whole family on.

Best memory of 2013 was when the wife and I stepped out of our comfort zone and spent 2 weeks exploring Alaska, enjoying it so much we have a return trip planned and are looking to retire up there someday!

Well if I am forced to pick only one here is one I really love, Even though I have seen so many great things this year and experienced some awesome times in mother natures bounty this picture still gets me watching my grandbaby grow up to be a little man everyday it seems.

First big game animal:

Diy on public land, leftover tag, thirteen hours after leaving home with an hour of daylight left, 3/4 mile stalk, one shot using the crew cab as a rest, before we reached camp or unpacked the truck.

Thank you to those who helped with info.
