I took our decoy out and let a couple of goats hit the ground. I did miss a goat early in the morning. He came in a little hot. Got a good shot at 50 yards and missed, but a good thing. My camera man double punch the record button. We then moved onto another group, the bucks were rutting hard and ran some of the herd off. I did have a couple of does decide to check me out. One ventured too close, and she had the air let out of her.
Later on we found the lope I had missed earlier. After getting the camera man set up again, I planned my stalk. After making it across the 150 yards of wide out praire. I got busted, but he just looked at me and stood long enough to get my bow up and range him. He took a couple of steps and turned 180. I drew and pin wheeled him. He made it 30 yards.
First goat with the decoy.

Man you guys are tearing it up with stick and string congrats. If you had a camera man wheres the footage would love to see it.
Again nice job.

Another Montana Goat taken with the decoy...this one by Joe Jacks of Tight Spot Quivers.
He stalked within range of a group of 8 bucks. They saw him and got too curious. Here is the result.

Sweet hat. You need to wear it for the photos though to better demonstrate your commitment to the product. I want to see the video. I've never had much luck with decoy action until into September. That hat would get hot inside my truck - is there a lightweight roadhunting model?
