2007 in pictures

The mountain scenery pictures are awesome, as well as, others. I really like the wiley euro mount also, fantastic!

Here's a Rocksprings, TX hog, that's in the Texas hill country. Dirty rocks, that's the terrain right there as the town name and picture indicate.

I helped a female friend get it, then just proped up the head and skin for the picture after quartering it out.

Sheep hunting in CO last September.

I don't see any sheep? Here's a scouting picture when they were in velvet last August here. Prickly pear cactus, a lot of that around here. Held a camera up to the spotting scope, it works, but its good he was bedded, it takes a while to get setup for those.

I say break the rules, put the Utah and the Wyoming elk right back to back, that would be cool!

Buck fever with a camera, that's what I call this, but he was far away and it was getting dark, that's my excuse. He's a main frame 10 point with two kicker points, one on each G2 and they stick out. Wow!

Well since everyone else is posting lopes here's the one I killed last year. My 10 year old daughter (super-guide) spotted it before me. In fact, had she not seen it when she did I probably would have not had a shot opportunity.

Nice Euro Wiley but you have to ask permission to hang trophies in the house?

Umm, yeah, I do. The sweet wife says that heads, skulls, and antlers don't "match" the furniture and decor. I told her we are buying new furniture then! She told me I could hang a shoulder mount in the house if 1) I shot it, and 2) if it's big enough. I guess a nice 29" 4 point doesn't qualify it for #2. |oo

Hahaha. My wife doesn't really care for my Turkey and Javelina but she tolerates them.

Nice stuff Buschy! I have a freind who's second wife let him put the full body mount turkey in the house, because it was so important to him. My God, it was a huge turkey. She complained about his hunting stuff so much, he kept moving it out. He got it all out and in an apartment. He told me last year, he asked her if she liked it better with all the stuff out, she said yes, it was getting to be pretty nice in the house, the way she liked it. He said good, because I'm leaving too, I got all my stuff in an apartment the way I like it. I'm not sure why he married her, men do crazy things and women object to the sillyest things. Women get pissed at me for really stupid things. I hope you get to put your stuff up in the garage at least! Someplace that's your room for your stuff!

Here's some Rio Grande's in the road on the way to a recent hunt. Its almost spring turkey time!!
