Thats the first time I have ever shot a moose that didn't fall in a hole, probably be the last time too! The pack was good too, maybe 20 yards to the raft.

Thanks, yeah, passing up on that huge bull wasn't easy but we really had no choice.

I have no idea what he scored, but I'd venture to guess it wouldn't be very high since he has narrow paddles and not much spread and only 2 brows per side, plus he'd lose points for his drop tines. Still, he is a nice bull and taste as good if not better than any bull i have taken in the past and thats what matters most!
