How did you guys even pick that up with the flute music in the background drawing your attention away from sober thought? Dang flute music anyway.

well i just dont know what to call it to show a picture of the sun river game range sign immediately followed by shots of what i think are elk and maybe sheep from alberta waterton park.
beautiful photographs of scenery and wildlife anyways, so i will shut up now.

Bout-time RD. I'm not trying to deceive you or anyone else for that matter, you're believing what you want to believe.
The rocky mountain front is a big place not bound by simple political boundaries or ideology. The RMF is a geographic region of the north american continent . . . The dead elk is from waterton, but so what? And just say they were all were from Waterton, is Waterton part of the rocky mountain front? Do YOU define the "RMF?" What do you think the people in alberta call the place? Does the USA own the RMF? Is the RMF a Montana exclusive? What do you think the people in Denver would say? Good grief . . . is that really a Greenpeace guy talking to a gay cowboy with an earring - huh? No way, we don't have gay cowboys with earrings in Montana that actually talk to tree hungers do we? Do Albertons come to the USA with cameras, of course not, we would not let them in with their own camera's how foolish . . .
Lets take this a step further just for fun, since it's RD is all about blabbing is mouth. How many of those hunting shows, documentaries, motion pictures and movies have you watched in your life? I'm sure in everyone of them every sequence was just as it happened too. . . every frame, every clip, every single thing you saw while chomping your popcorn was just how God created it. I got news for you RD, IT'S A STORY! Enjoy it or don't enjoy it. Oh yeah, and NASA really didn't make it to the moon, that was all faked, it was staged on a move set, sorry to burst your bubble . . . Finally, and the real truth, sorry to let you down, there is no Bigfoot, he's a farce man. . . Santa, he's real though, and God really was a white guy from the sand country. . .

Finalshot, im glad you have spoke and i have been put in my place. Im sure ive come across badly, my intention is not to discredit you and I should have been more careful the way i typed. I regret not emailing and private messaging with Ben or even you rather than discussing this openly with him here.
My concern with your video is the possible impact on the augusta area. Only Montana is tagged and the sun river game range sign is shown just before the elk photos of which it sounds like one or all are from waterton. waterton is not tagged nor is alberta. As ive agreed earlier they are both commonly referred to as part of the Front.
There are many building lots for sale with views of the sun river game range. There is also land for sale within the game range with an ideal site for building a retreat. I have seen the recreational homes being built on the east boundary of waterton. Obviously those people are building there to enjoy the park's view and also the incredible wildlife. To me representing that same wildlife as present near augusta has a possible result of generating tourism, outfitting business, and real estate interest in the augusta area. I have emotional issues with seeing seeing huge mansions sprout on the boundaries of montanas game ranges. Which obviously is happening independent of videos like yours, but i think there is potential for misrepresentation.
Of course the other side of the coin is that promotional videos like yours can be used to help conserve the front. And i do appreciate the beautiful photographs you take and how they showcase the Front landscape.

I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but there are huge elk in the sun, that is a secret to no one . . . on the other hand i'm not sure how many people know that there are dinosaurs in choteau, or western bars in Augusta, and what about the shots from browning, I wonder if there's going to be a run on Indian days, know one knew anything about it or the dinosaurs till i exposed them with my photographs ay? I'd like to think I have that kind of impact but i dont. or where those indain dancer shots really from pine ridge? Its perception, it's in our minds, we believe what we choose to believe, that is out of my control . . .
The point is not whether we are wrecking the place by showing a big bull after the sign of the sun river game range, or showing people that there's big elk or small elk, the point is that we need understand that the RMF is made up of a large number of interests and we all have a stake in the outcome. We must stick together as Front People in order to protect a way of life and a lifestyle that we that live here have come to enjoy. Augusta would love more than to double the numbers of people that hunt the sun, it's good for business . . . or has that changed now too - you guys from sw montana should know . . . what's real, what's not, who owns the media, who has the right to help and who defines help. . .
Rather then snub me, get out there and do something helpful. This site and this world is not all just to find better places, more access and insider information for where the big bucks live . . . or is it?

RD, Personally I'm glad you said something. Heck I was hypnotized by that dang flute music in the video and didn't have a clue where the photos were taken. I believed they were all from Montana. The photography is very impressive. As a whole I like the video...minus the music. I do think it is dishonest to represent everything as being in Montana. I think it is dishonest to represent all that as being the efforts of conservation groups...like some sort of man made group takes the credit of God's creations or lets make ourselves dishonestly look good to get more donations for a "good cause." I don't agree with doing wrong as a means to accomplish something "good." In fact I don't even think whoever put the video together gave it that much thought but I'm not them either.
My point is both sides have great input. I'd recommend changing the video to be more honest and by all means change that flute music.
And Final Shot gay cowboys are only on BrokeBackMountain, we landed on the moon, big foot is still up in the air, santa isn't real, and what race Christ was dosen't matter as much as walking a walk like Him.

what people make up in their heads . . . i made that video for myself and showed it as part of a presentation to highlight the RMF area . . . it is partially conservation photography, partially wildlife, some documentary, some journalism, but the truth is it's material that I own and i put into one slide show for myself. I was asked if I'd like to share it . . . I said yes that's fine. . . again you guys are reading more into it than is intended, again, there is no conspiracy, not covert meaning, except for the subliminal coke ad that flashed by to make you want a coke, and there was no intent to diseave anyone . . . it's about the RMF that's it . . . the agenda is simple, "here's what we have along the front."
