Only one question. Why? With the modern .12 gauge and the various 3' and 3 1/2" loads, not too mention even the 3" 20 gauge guns, I can't imagine subjecting oneself to the recoil and the weight of a .10 gauge.

+2 I us a 12/ 3in. Mag #6 and killed piles of birds.......+1. I've shot more turkeys with a 20 gauge than 12, never even considered a 10. I guess if you have the money and want to be able to shoot a bit further. Good excuse to buy another gun as well.
As far as the ammo. Where are you located? There are 38 types of just 10 gauge #2 shot on cheaper than dirt. All in stock. Plenty in stock at Cabelas as well.
