To be honest, I would have been pretty skeptical that it would shoot. I have seen some bad barrels, this one is in the top 5 for sure. Input on damaged rifling
Probably the single largest source of questions we get is from customers who get a bore scope and think that every barrel is supposed to be mirror shiny and perfect from chamber to bore. Just not the case, especially in factory production rifles.- bluegrassdan

EMERGENCY!!! Returning to the dream of one hunting rifle…
I just finished this one for a 2026 Moose hunt in Canada. The scope will be swapped out for one that is meant for hunting, this Arken is heavy as a cinder block and got put on a 22 competition rifle instead.- bluegrassdan

Well, that kind of depends on your idea of "worth" doesn't it? I build rifles for my customers that I would put up there with the best of them, but I could not justify charging a customer $13k for a bolt rifle for hunting and still sleep at night (unless it had a museum quality hand made walnut...- bluegrassdan
