Canadian company but might be what you're looking for. My guy doesn't need boots til it hits about -30 Celsius, he's lucky in that he has furry paws and a love of the cold.
Right around 2 1/4". I have lots of wide open spaces to shoot around me so I can set up a target at 100, get reasonably close and then go out to 250 to get it perfect.

Only usurped if a first timer is hunting, then they get first dibs, unless it’s a trophy caliber big ol beast, then it sticks with whoever saw it first. Those are few and far between though.
My main rifle is about 10.5 lbs loaded. Its not a weight that affects my hunt. I prefer a heavier rifle for the benefits in regards to recoil tbh. Also for the feeling that if I drop it that it won't immediately break, but that's not based on science or anything haha
I have one in 300WM. Accuracy is nice, and Weatherby quality while still having access to all the R700 aftermarket is nice. It is a heavy pig so eat your Wheaties if you're gonna be carrying it around the bush.
