Pondering a scope change
Nice combo! So why don’t you use the Firedot? I’ve got 2 VX5s and ALWAYS use the FD. I’ve been hunting Ohio all week and it’s just part of my set up routine to turn it on and adjust the brightness to the lighting conditions. Or am I completely misunderstanding what you’re saying? -

Here’s what the owners manual states. Maybe I’m misunderstanding. Wouldn’t be the first time :) -

You squeeze the center blade until it’s flush with the actual trigger and then execute your shot. I have no issues with the Accu trigger. It’s not as good as my Trigger Tech, but I like them. -

Uh, isn’t that how the Accu Trigger is supposed to work? That is, it shouldn’t fire unless you depress the center blade first (as you squeeze) and then execute the shot? I’ve got an Axis II and a 220 and seems that I remember reading in the owners manual that this is an added safety feature of... -
