Just curious when the last time my fellow montanans have harvested a mule deer in our home state. For myself it's been 7 years. With the current state of our mule deer I personally don't have the desire to take one unless it would be a great buck which is like finding a needle in a haystack imo...
Some great pics in this thread. Hunting solo most of the time I never seem to take many pack out pics but seeing all of these I might have to rethink that.

I've had 2 friends that have drawn the rifle tag in the breaks in the last 4 years and they had a hell of a time finding any decent bulls.
One guy ended up shooting a bull that was just under 300 and the other one never filled his tag. Both of them hunted hard. It just isn't much to get...
Not to derail your thread but I'd love to hear more about your pack goats as I've been considering getting some
One question in particular, are you able to leave them unattended in camp for the day while out hunting or do you keep them with you all the time?
