    Lobster Hunt 2024

Yeah man, go for it! I would be interested to see how different Florida lobster diving is to CA. I am weird in that I kinda like the cold water...

    Lobster Hunt 2024

It is super fun. Nothing like grabbing a giant bug with your hands and having a wrestling match underwater!

    Lobster Hunt 2024

It really is a great place. Wish it was a little closer, but I can always find a reason to get down there.

    Lobster Hunt 2024

My deepest was around 80 ft for this trip. Probably found most of them 40-60 ft. I saw a bunch of horn sharks, but nothing bigger (well besides sea lions and one massive, friendly, harbor seal)

    Lobster Hunt 2024

I went a 3 day lobster hunting trip last week in the Northern Channel Islands here in CA. I haven't been bug hunting in a number of years, so I was hoping I wasn't too rusty. Turns out, it comes back quick. We got on the boat Wednesday night and motored out to the backside of Santa Rosa...

    2024 NV hunt proposed quota

Nice to see a couple of the units I wanted to apply for go from 1 to 2 tags for Non-Res deer this year. I have no expectation of drawing (and would probably rather not draw this year), but at least my dad and I could party apply. Now just to wait till next Friday for the disappointing news!

The coolest thing I saw on this deer hunt was a ruffed grouse.

I hunted there in 2020. I really think I got lucky because of COVID and weather, because we didn't have too many other hunters around. With the changed rules after that my buddies that have gone back have reported similar to you. I am grateful I hunted it when I did, but seems unlikely to be a...

Laguna Seca is a great track. I was able to catch the Indycar race there earlier in September. Glad you enjoyed it.

    CO Moose Adventure

Very cool. I didnt get to spend any time there, but did drive through. Beautiful area and on another trip years ago I did go to the Brand Brewery in Wijlre for work. I was based in Leiden for 6 months last year. Great country. Best of luck on your moose hunt!

Congrats. I didn't pull any tags last year when I was living in the Netherlands, but sounds like a grand adventure for you. Where about in NL are you?

Well a reply for you all, since I did ask for help (and received it!). I made a bit of a journal as I went along and figured I would share it. The hunt didn't start out great. I got sick before I headed to Reno and would continue to have a wicked sinus infection through the duration of the...
