Lovin my 9.3x62, CZ550 fs. Really liked the 232gr Oryx. Shooting 250gr Accubonds now. Killed a cow moose, handful of elk (including the bull in my avatar), couple deer (WTD fawn too) and an antelope with it.
I use to work at a store that sold licenses. Busiest day of the year was the day leftover antelope licenses went on sale. Back then it was all paper licenses, and people would be lined up at the door well before 5:30am, when we opened.
I get that he made stuff for the show, just curious as to his relevance otherwise. Someone in Bozeman? A relative of yours?

Man I've wanted a tikka T3 in .270 for a while now, but definitely don't need one. Super generous of you, and other folks giving stuff away. I love this thread.
I've never owned a 35 whelen but I love my 9.3x62. Never been to Africa but I'd imagine the 35 would be just fine for plains game. Might be able to use it on dangerous game in some countries.
