Do you hunt public land in Wisconsin much or do you have your own deer lease? This is just the beginning. They picked the low hanging fruit. State ownership is a shitty road to wander down unless you are a rich citizen or corporation ready to make large land grabs.- mukbowhunt

I will fight with you on this effort. We can’t sit by and watch our public lands get destroyed eliminated. I spent the past week filling a b tag in MT and while most of the elk were on private, I was still able to find a few on public. I am DIY public land diehard!- mukbowhunt

Come hunt Mule Deer in WA state and you will see first hand what a 3 point or better general hunt will do. Also at play is a November modern rifle season so not sure which one has more impact. Btw, nonresidents are unlimited in case you are wondering. 🤪- mukbowhunt

Joining the fight to push back on this. It would be a disaster for hunting and fishing. However I also don’t want the government putting clean energy plants on every piece of BLM or building affordable housing on it. We need to fight this land grab with everything we have!- mukbowhunt

Speaking of Idaho… A big chunk of the NR caps have gone to support outfitters directly. In certain zones they keep reducing the NR tags while increasing the outfitter tags. I would love for Mt to avoid further outfitter support. I can’t imagine they actually need the guaranteed tags other...- mukbowhunt

I thought/think that the 17000 elk licenses are shared between the big game combo and elk combo but I haven’t confirmed. If so it isn’t 17000 deer licenses.- mukbowhunt
