Favorite Cut?
I'll pile on about the flat iron cut but on elk-size game, I also love pulling the tri-tip out as a separate cut from the hind quarter. Roasted and sliced thin makes amazing sandwiches or French dips with home made horse radish.- Highcountry Hunter

Whats your most accurate rifle?
I'm late to this party but have a factory Kimber Classic Select in .280 AI that shoots 1/2" MOA all day long. I'm actually looking to build something new and custom though - really need a composite stock and it's the only thing I don't like about the Kimber as much as I love a good oil finish...- Highcountry Hunter

Mountain goat round?
Might be too late to be helpful but I just took my first mountain goat in Colorado yesterday morning with a Kimber .280 AI throwing 150 gr Hornady GMX bullets. Howa HS Precision question
Super happy with Howa. My HS Precision with VX-5HD 2-10x42 CDS scope puts her right at 8.5 lbs. Not an ultra light hunting rig by any means but not a lead pipe either. What conservation groups do you belong to?
I think Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) is the real deal and just became a Life Member in the Fall. I love that they care about hunting and fishing and all the wild country out there. Plus they are the most hard core group and I'm a guy who likes the challenge and solitude of the backcountry...- Highcountry Hunter
