Great writeup! As a native NCer "temporarily living in KY" it is good to hear that story. My hunting buddy & I made 6 trips to WY antelope, elk & mule deer. Were successful on the first two but scratched on the mulies. That was the last trip. He died of cancer so no more. We also did them...
Thanks for all the response. I have about eliminated them because a lot of reviews say they can be a bit unstable in turns.NOT GOOD for wooded trails. There is one with the 2 wheels in front which is highly rated but not on market yet. I am not a fan of ATVs but will use them for hauling...
Morning guys,
Anyone ever use electric 3 wheel tricycles for access? I am not at the point that I need one for access, however I am past the point that dragging a deer out of the eastern woods is not possible. I have a sled as well as a 2 wheel cart but still not possible physically...
Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like NM with guide next year may the the best idea. I will need to check their status on does and may need to get a buck also particularly with a guide. I have no problems with bucks, it's just I have a couple of nice ones and just as soon go for meat. I will...
Not interested in bucks just love antelope meat so a couple of does are fine, and yes I would consider a guided hunt. Any state as I have no preference points. Mule deer have been on my bucket list, but the primary aim is antelope.
Thanks to Big Fin, this website & Helpful WGFD a hunt buddy & I did 7 years with OYO antelope hunts. He died 3 years ago with brain cancer so I sorta lost interest for a while. Still deer hunt in KY and last year took a guided cow elk hunt in CO. The antelope bug has bitten again so I am...
Thanks for the response! Probably should have posted in elk thread, but was browsing this and did not switch. Know a guy from KY going out the end of this week for a hunt next week and was thinking I would see how his trip went.
Does anyone have info on how the virus situation is being handled? I see the CO Wildlife Dept. is offering refunds if you apply prior to the start of your season. Three of us are headed out that way mid Dec. for a late season cow hunt. It will be with an outfitter so just a little nervous.
Thanks!

Outbacks rule! Only addition I would make is a Harbor Freight trailer. Made 6 Wyoming hunting trips and 2 Colorado fishing trips pulling mine and it is great. As a fellow Tarheel temporarily residing in KY (38) hope you have a fantastic trip. As these guys will tell you...
Semper F. Dave,
I gave them 4 good years including a tour in S.E. Asia. There are some really smart lope hunters on this site willing to share. Go on the WY Game & Fish Site under the hunting heading look for drawing odds for non resident antelope 2015 to see what areas may offer good odds...
Agree
I have not and do not intend to hunt Montana because of the costs associated. It is still Wyoming for me. I can choose my "poison" and pay appropriately!
What's Happening?
Nice buck! Have a couple of those from years past. Now just like the meat. Between my hunting buddy & I we bring back 4 does, which gives us and my kids each an animal. With our KY deer the freezer looks pretty good! Would like a mulie in the future. What are the...
What's Happening?
Since I am not horn hunting, $50 per doe tag, $14 for NR fishing & $28 for NR small game. Did the whole 9 day trip for under $600. Price of gas helped
It's been a while since anyone posted. What is going on out there? Had a successful hunt and will continue to go to WY as long as health holds out. Antelope, trout, sharptails. Hard to beat!

As a Native from the tarheel state "temporarily" living in KY (40yrs) even the promised land has some warts. LeJune as well as Fayetteville. However the mountains & beach in the same state make up for a lot of bad. Now if the elk herd would just expand & we could figure how...
