Yes, I always call and email them. Both were on vacation. but expecting info soon. I have several notebooks filled with info and hundreds of research emails. I use all that, plus Onx, Gohunt, hunting fool, Google earth and much more. There isn't better intel than boots on the knowledge...- 270WSM140g

Starky Experimental! Any elk 2019 rifle tag!
My coworker has hunted it and his son drew a cow tag that starts in October i believe. The bio told him there is 450 elk right now in there and they want it down to 150. I'm sure once folks get hunting in there, the pressure will move them a lot. Good hunting and be safe. Kris.- 270WSM140g

I use these as a general biological guide, but know as you that weather etc will dictate a lot of things. We're hunting Sept 5th thru 14th in Oregon for archery. Lately our elk have been on rut through October however.- 270WSM140g
