agree with all above...also: practice shooting at distance. take a good rangefinder. glass where you think you can't climb to. be careful on the steep rock-it's easy to get hurt out there. when you fall- don't fall on a cactus!. lots of time I've heard the falling/sliding rocks they kick...
great pics all around. congrats to the young man. got my Granddad's 40's-50's Rem model 11 that he used to quail hunt with. great old gun. got any history with your Model 11? old guns are so much cooler than most of the new stuff
had a payment that was late from a co 85 mi. away.. called them after 17 days. said they mailed it. was about to get them to stop payment and send another check. check arrived 21 days after it was postmarked. geesh
kudos. thanks for posting..retirement is just around my corner and an African hunt/2nd honeymoon is in the plan. I think I had the same barber as you but his name was Mr Curtis Pope and he had a full mount of a pinball buck under glass in the shop - great guy
just wow....does your wife have a single older sister / mom ? what a lucky guy you are. That'll be such a great story for your child to tell for the rest of his/her life - Ibex hunt before 1 yr. old !
