Who ready for bear season?
My 2cents (opinions vary greatly): Mountain spring bears taste like sh@t! Seasoned smoked meat sticks work good, nothing like great tasting fall bears in other areas.- ccc23454

I just built a 6mmARC, almost did it as a 22 ARC. I like the smaller AR platforms guns, but did a lot of reading on that 22 creedmore along way and it's impressive. Fyi the 6ARC is awesome! -

Ya i don't see it either but who knows what it was called but moral of that story was: works great and provides some quick flexibility and ability to move camps. I can't imagine it being a bad setup if you rigged a tarp over it, if have never had any real rain pass when using mine but standard...- ccc23454

We had a thread on this few years ago but works slick. Wouldn't do it for more than couple days. I use a canvas tarp as floor, cot fits perfect.- ccc23454

Gallatin WMA spring closure
Guys I don't know anything about this directly but I want to voice one position that never gets heard in these situations. If I was in your shoes planning for 2027 I would: start buying MT pref points this year, try for a idaho general in dec 2026(doubtful you get one worth hunting) if you don't get one then in spring apply for WY general or a LE you can 100% draw and MT. You may not draw your LE hunt in MT but... -
Propane vs Diesel
It's cheaper, safer, easier, fuel lasts longer and has no maintenance other than charging battery. Just takes a little mechanical ability to build system and set it up. I plan to build a new bigger trailer in next year or two and already know how I am building 2 diesel heaters into design...- ccc23454

I was luckily enough yesterday to purchase the same exact tag as 2025 wyoming bear supertag holder. If you factor in raffle ticket cost i even paid significantly less than him can you believe it! I laugh every year when i see that press release.- ccc23454
