    Backcountry communication

What is your go to satellite messaging device? Seems the most popular is the inreach mini, but seems there are a good many other options available also. Amazon has the Motorola defy on sale for $79 but reviews are mixed. Luckily we've always had decent cell service on most of our hunts, but I'd...

    Wyoming unit 52

We've hunted it in the past. Seemed to vary a lot from year to year but always seen goats. Believe it or not we killed ours way up near national forest boundary on blm. I understand that the winter of 22-23 was really bad that year especially for antelope. Plenty of roads and 2 tracks to access...

    175 ELD-X or 175 Nosler ABLR

    Wyoming region M

Thanks for the reply. We've hunted wyoming 7 or 8 years so we know we'll have a fun trip regardless. We also don't have unreal expectations of killing anything big. We'd be happy with a shot at a decent 4pt honestly. I expect a tough hunt being as we drew it as a second chance

    Wyoming region M

Just curious if anyone has first hand experience with region M. We drew it as a second choice this year. I've found mixed info from my online research. I'm assuming as a whole, deer densities are relatively low. I've been looking specifically at units 39 and 40. Both have some decent looking...

Outfitter suggestions for WY Deer in Unit 80.

We've hunted it. Most of the NF is thick timber. I'd hunt the transition areas where the forest/blm boundaries are. Definitely plenty of public to hunt
