Anyone using a Toyota Highlander as their hunting rig?
Used our highlander to hunt for an ID Elk tag in last week’s tag sale. Slept in the parking lot in it. Does that count? I would never try using the highlander on western hunts. Not enough clearance among other issues.- Khunter

so very true. Worst of the sale process IMO is the vast array of allowed “special processes” each vendor can gin up. Doing emailed orders only to make a massive list to process while the shop is closed to walk ins, and then calling guys all over the country for credit cards hours after tags... -

I was 4th in line and 9 total tags were sold to the 3 guys in front of me before they got to me and I got tag #417 of 459 in Diamond close . 10 seconds later it was sold. out so the last 42 tags went “poof”. have a flat lander friend 73 year old with a lot of western hunt experience with 16 WY nonres elk points. An outfitter is offering him a guided 5-day fully hunt in a Gen area on private land pre rut only ending by Sept 10 in a Gen area south of Afton if he shares points with his clients... -

Not for every situation but if close to vehicle access I have used a battery power sawsall on moose ribs. lickety split removal of ribs. Then used to cut down length of ribs for packaging later.- Khunter
