Whats your goals on Elk this year ?
Like AZ402 said, depends on antler growth this year. Its been very dry this year in NM. So I dont think there will huge monsters this year. So if I get drawn I hope for a 6x6 in the 320 plus. I f I have to use a land owner tag all bets are off or at least down to 4 legs and brown. -

Honkers are coming back
This whole year has been off. I generally only hunt ducks, but this year they were not as thick as normal. Shot wood ducks up to the last day of season, usually they are gone after the first part of season, and the geese were thin numbers compared to years past.- point man

Well the time has come for the wife to face reality and grow up, or at least old. Just found out she's gonna be a grandma.
