Maybe this is something everyone else has already encountered, it's new to me this year...I have had multiple hot spots ruined, and a lot of the elk I scouted blown out from people camping right in the elk with their fancy heated teepee setups, by right in the elk I mean like right in the prime... -
Removing Horns from a bighorn deadhead?
I was lucky enough to pick up a lion-killed bighorn skull a couple of years ago, does anyone have experience getting the horns off of the skull on a long-dead Bighorn? the hide and what flesh is left is essentially mummified, I've tried boiling it while I've been working on elk euro mounts but...- GrantK

Place bets on how soon Utah any Bull licenses sell out?
so I screwed up and got sidetracked at work this morning and didn't get on the Utah DWR site until 7:45ish... currently sitting at 7165 in the queue, do you think that tags will sell out before I get to the front? NW CO Opinions?
I'm somewhat in no man's land with 9 resident points, given the late dates this year I'm thinking about burning them so I can get back to hunting easy to draw units, I've been lucky and picked up reissue tags for the last 4 years but it sounds like that is probably ending and I like hunting...
