I didn't have this big of a bounce predicted, but I didn't expect him to back off so quickly. The elephant in the room is still China on tariffs. 125% tariffs on something close to a 1/2 Trillion dollars is a lot of money. Crazy that the market can swing so dramatically.- npaden

Buying Land
I sure wish I had figured out a way to make a land purchase work for me at that age. I remember looking at properties back in the 1990s for just $200 to $300 an acre that are about 10 times that price now. I've bought a lot of land and haven't ever looked back and said that I wish I hadn't...- npaden

Hard to say that this isn’t a reaction to tariffs when the market swings 2,000 points in less than 30 minutes on a post on X that there might be a 90 day pause on the tariffs. Markets were no doubt overvalued a bit but the trigger for this sell off is tariffs no doubt. Hopefully it has...- npaden

Buying Land
This would be hard to get it to math out in Colorado unless you found the perfect property with the perfect landowner tag system. Like something in Unit 61 or 76 or someplace like that. Will be easy to see who is right and who was wrong on this one. I'm saying at least a 1% bounce back tomorrow. I might be wrong but think it is going to happen. This is an overreaction. Apple is down 10% because of a 10% tarriff? They will price it in and the consumer gets to pay more...- npaden

It's mind boggling that this was a surprise. How was it not already priced in. I think the bad orange man ended up being a little softer than I expected. Not sure how this was a surprise since he has been saying this is coming since his first day in office.- npaden
