2025 NM draw results

It's mind boggling that this was a surprise. How was it not already priced in. I think the bad orange man ended up being a little softer than I expected. Not sure how this was a surprise since he has been saying this is coming since his first day in office.- npaden

Since it is preventative care Medishare doesn't count it toward the deductible anyway. They will apply a PPO discount but that's it. I've never met a deductible on my insurance or on Medishare in 56 years so hopefully I don't have to worry about it this year. I've got money set aside in case...- npaden

I did look into Samaritan Ministries when I was trying to decide back in 2018. I think at the time Medishare was quite a bit larger and seemed like the safer option. Yes. That's why I have Medishare. It isn't insurance but is very similar. You can choose to have a lower deductible, I just choose to have a high one. There is no top sharing limit. Lot's of insurance has a maximum of like $1,000,000 payout total. I was wrong on our previous numbers, the...- npaden

I think over the 7 years we've saved a LOT. The knee surgery coming out below the deductible was crazy. I'm not sure how they get away negotiating that down so low. The radioactive brain scan was about the price it should have been, the cash price was just super low and we missed out on it...- npaden

We pay for employee health insurance for our employees and somehow have a "grandfathered" pre Obama care insurance that is actually really good.
