    Ditches and creeks are ok, not side channels. Wardens have told me not to hunt the creek mouths right where it dumps into the river....basically if your hunting close enough your retrieving birds from the rivers high water mark then your asking for trouble

    Due to snow storms and a hunt in Ohio, this was the first weekend ive made it out in MT. No complaints for sure. Two solid birds down on day one. Wifes bird was a double beard. There must have been a fantastic hatch last yr. On my wifes 1st bird, 2 toms and 17! jakes came in. This is hands down...

    When I had the 210 sheep tag in 2007 there was a broomed off old warrior of a ram we would see every day. We could count 10yrs, he had scars all over his face a busted up nose etc. He had 16"+ bases (he had better bases than the one I shot which were over 16") and carried his mass all the way...

    My son an I had the 410 tag last yr (2021). I hunted 26 days, my son hunted 12. We saw lots of bulls but we honestly never laid eyes on a bull that would go better than 320 on public or during legal hours...I did find 2 decent bulls (320iosh) the last weekend one morning but I couldn't get...

    Retrieving problems

    I would force fetch...and IMO your way better of having a pro do it than trying to do it yourself. Teaching hold isnt any big deal, but going through proper FF is pretty hard on both you and your dog. I think its harder on the do if you try to do it yourslf
