Good eats/outdoor stores around Springfield, MO?
Check out plateau fly shop, Bass pro is great and big, the museum is very cool. There are good barbecue joints, good steak joints. You will eat well. I think some of the better restaurants are actually in Branson. I’m an hour and twenty from Springfield.- 7mm08mo

7-08 hunting loads
My load is 41 grains of varget with 140 accubond. 2730 FPS five shot average. I can’t find them now so I am working up a new load for 131 grain hammer hunters.- 7mm08mo

How many days do you rifle hunt specifically for deer in your home state?
I usually hunt at least morning or evening of every day of Missouri’s 11 day rifle season. Weekends are both and during the week it is one or the other depending on weather and my schedule and gut feeling. -

Beer: Kurs banquet or lite is my go to. Always have a 6er of longboat bobbers, Big piney black walnut, and fat tire if the mood strikes. The bobber and walnut are Missouri made. Bourbon: Buffalo trace is daily driver and very delicious. On rocks or old fashioned, or Manhattan. No soda. Wellers...- 7mm08mo

Stuff you don't like for no good reason
Flat billed hats. Long hair on men. Short hair on women. AND JACKED UP TRUCKS WETHER THEY ARE GASSERS OR DIESEL. Rolling coal out of said trucks. Must be overcompensating for something for the previous two. Especially when most of them are pavement princesses. Guarantee I’ve had my stock... -
