    I have had fusions in other calibers so weird thing on whitetails, like shatter on ribs. I would keep the 270 and find a mono or an Accubond/partition like stated above.

    Zeroing in Muzzy question

    If I were hunting with a muzzy and open sights I for sure would have a peep installed. Maybe even a globe front also. I say forget the scope and having to zero that thing twice.

    Doe Antelope Caliber

    With a quality bullet it would probably be ok I would think. But a 7mm would do it without the doubt in the back of your mind. That confidence can mean a lot. If I were shooting a 7mm at antelope I would have a 140gr monolithic bullet like a ttsx or hammer, etc.

    Nonstick against core bond?

    Try this. It should work. I have never used wood as a mold, only metal. So covering the pores of the wood with wax paper and then coating that might work.
