moosie the "invitation" is the threat i wqas talking about. and on other boards the fighting usually has to do with a product(wildlife tech., i personally like the caller and it's maker. some don't) never have i seen threats or degrading of people as i have seen here in thepast couple of weeks...- californiacoyotes

can you really make money doing this?
my wife and i were talking today about guides and outfitters and she asked me "these guys really make a living showing other people where to get there deer or whatever?" i said well i think they do. so my question is this do you guys live year around off your guide money or is it a "side"...- californiacoyotes

can you pattern a bear???
i already have a call into the warden for around here, it just takes a bit for him to call back. i went out for coyotes this morning and was thinking about this "baiting for pictures" and i'm pretty sure it will be illegal. although i am wondering how the fish and game people attract a nuience...- californiacoyotes

my hunt will be in the fall but i was hoping to pattern one before then. i know i can bait bears to hunt them here in california but i'm not sure what restrictions apply to photographing them, which is basically what i'll be doing...initially. i think that i maybe illegal given what the end...- californiacoyotes

how do you train a dog to track...

game finders...
how do they work? do they need some blood to work and how effective are they? i am interested in a game finder to track a wounded bear but from what i understand a bear doesn't drop any or alot of blood. will a game finder help in this situation or not?- californiacoyotes

moosie your offer does sound good to me but i think if i hunt out of state i have to sell one of my guns or something! when i first got this bug for a bear i was looking up in washington but cost was a factor and the fact that you can't exactly walk into the forrest and get a bear without...- californiacoyotes
