    Currently using H4895 with the 185TTSX. Was able to reach a tad over 2,900 fps before I started to see pressure signs. Best accuracy was at 2,850 fps, so I settled there.

    Barnes lrx question

    Can’t go wrong with either a 168 TTSX or 175 LRX out of a 30-06. I like the 150 TTX as well, especially on deer. But for elk I usually go with a little heavier bullet. In reality any of these bullets will kill an elk if you do your part.

    Nice rifle, 22-250 is an awesome cartridge. I have two Z5s, love those scopes! Great eye relief and a forgiving eye box makes it easy to find that moving coyote in your scope.

    I have a 280 REM with a factory 1-10 twist barrel. Have taken a ton of game with it using 140 gr Nosler flat base bullets, switched it over to 140 gr Barnes bullets a couple years ago and have been very happy.
