I have read somewhere that several counties are allowing hounds to run lion , my question is what are the limitations , is it a special permit or whatand which counties are allowing it if it is the case .
Thank you .
Bear act about the same way ( meaning head posturing ) . I liked the mount :D .
I grew up in Everett wa Snohomish area .
And would you know a Butch Christianson From the Granite Falls Snohomish area .
I hunt a little further north of there and have allways seen a good number of birds , but thats ok guess less pressure with good publisity :D ;)
But I will say this Blacktail is not to far from where I am ussually hunting .
well I have never had a problem getting into the sharpies or huns out around ririe resevoir and the sharpies and huns are doing great this year just the sage numbers are downonly seen about 20 this year out 3 times ussually see a lot more .
I also hunt down by Malad for sharp and pheasants .
Thanks for sharing the story MD4M . Just remember if you are not comftortable you might want to get into a position where you are comfortable .
Sounds like you had a good time .
The sharp population is doing really well along with the huns atleast in the areas that I go . And Hemmorrage , I probably do hunt the same areas you used to go Ririe area . I have only been here since 92 and have been hunting the birds since .
Yeah we had tags in both areas and if they run far from one road there is another they are closer to , but lots of bear .
Wish we had that many bear over here .
I agree with Gato , I tree several sows with cubs a year and even if split up they get together very quickly as shown by trail cam pictures if they are that far away mamma is gone for good and I would say 99% of the time not becouse of dogs ( if not 100% ). Now if you are just out or on a stand...
Not the greatest picture to judge by but looks like a boar 19-19 1/2 " and shouldnt even guess the length but 5'10" .300-350# class . Now you better let us know
