    Congrats Ithica! I have never killed a double bearded bird much less a triple. I'm not sure I could have stayed calm enough to pull my jacket off and lift my gun w/o getting caught. Way to go....

    CTH, We are just adding the spurs and the beards. Didn't want to use the NWTF system because it takes weight into affect. Since all of us are not hunting the same species we decided to leave out the weight and just add the inches.

    Feet Problems.......

    My pup is running his pads off every time I turn him loose now. He is bad to run over 12 hours in the pen. Last time it took him two weeks to walk on all four feet again. Has anyone ever tried the Tuff Foot products? What else will help tuff'n up his feet? Will his feet get better w/ age or is...

    Boomer smacked a jake......

    Well I finally laid one to rest. He had a 5 1/4" beard, weighed 18 lbs and 1/4" bumps for spurs. Story and pictures to follow later....

    Turkey Season report .....

    Great birds Chambo. 27 lbs. is a monster no matter how long his beard was. The heaviest turkey I have taken was 24 lbs. Looks like you had a good season. I entered the biggest bird in the contest. If you are not done hunting let me know and I will wait.
