Hello, I've been looking at some of the threads, but I'm wondering specifically if anyone's been using the shorter barreled superlite 16.25 inches I think. running a suppressor? Bleaching skulls
Think it was mentioned, but I too use the liquid 40 Volume peroxide, and mix it with Clairol BW2 powdered whitener. form a paste and brush on, leave for a few days and brush off. Works great.- Trapper330

Guidance on choosing a new barrel or new rifle
I think it depends on what YOU want to do. If you want to make memories with this gun since it was a gift, then make it what you want. If that doesn't matter, you are right that there are lots of nice options. I have a Howa Randy Newberg 2 that I think is great. To each their own.- Trapper330

Howa Superlite
Trying to decide on caliber as I already have a 6.5, 7-08 and 308. Does the 308 kick like a mule? I realize the calibers are close, but as a flatlander with no elk experience, any difference between 7-08 and 308 for elk? Other than bullet weights. Is the 7-08 legit for elk?
