Frustrated in Idaho

Area 39 Elk Hunt

Well, it turns out I might have lost my hunting partner for area 39 in Idaho which starts today and ends on the 9th. Is there anybody that would like to go with me? I am far form a knowlegable Elk hunter, but I will provide the transportation, gas and good conversation. Let me know! Mark

Hi all! I have been reading through these posts and so far I love this site! I have been hunting here in Idaho for three years now, and the only Elk I have seen were a couple dead cows in a ditch. Any tips on finding these ghosts? What type of terrain do they prefer? What kind of foliage...
