The harley thing is an annual event now every 4th of July. This year they are expecting 80,000 bikes. It's a cool event. Lot's of things to do.
As far as the squirrels, I was shooting at my in-laws, down near Panoche. I still have plenty to shoot.
I'll have some fine sausage from a pig we took on the 11th of May. Also, if I get a chance, I'll pick up some world famous skirt steak from Freedom Lockers. It's to die for!!

Don't know him, but I see he's a Division Chief up in the Shasta/Trinity Unit.
The hunting down here is pretty good. I went down to my in-laws ranch a couple weeks back and shot squirrels. Best day of squirrel shooting I've ever had. I shot over 275 rounds out of my .22 mag and my buddy wasted...
Marv, I think there's still room. We only have 5 guys so far. Anyway, BS with the guys that are coming and see whats up. Whereabouts were those pics taken?

I also checked with the local butchers for availability on shipping meat for anyone who wants to get it butchered here or is too far from home to transport it back. The best place I have found locally is the Corralitos Market & Sausage company. They are the only ones I found that will ship...
Here is the official word from Fish & Game for anyone coming from out of state.

I do have a walk-in cooler for hogs. It holds about 8 comfortably. Only problem is it's about 2 miles from my house where the walk-in is to the cabin. I also have an ice machine but it is not big enough to support a large group for several days. If everyone brings ice in their chests to begin...
For all the guys that are coming to the June 7th-9th hunt, you will need to bring ice chests to keep your food in. The cabin has no electricity or refrigerator. It does have propane lighting throughout but a flashlight is recommeded if you gotta take a leak in the middle of the night. As time...
I'll be there! June 7th-9th So far I have received deposits from:
KeithE
California Hunter
Anaconda

I want to point out that this is a great deal and won't be available again probably ever. Now is the time to do it if you can. The more the merrier. I will be raising my regular...
That is a big hog. Must have been eating good. Is that the typical color of hogs from that area?
Here's a couple pics of a big 300 pounder we took off my ranch a couple weeks ago.
Tusker
No, he's still roaming around out there. The picture came from my "Buckshot 35" trail camera. It only took a couple of days for hogs and turkeys to fill up a roll of film.
