Here in Pa. I would say Ruffed Grouse, then Wood****. The Pheasant are stocked by the Pa. Game Commission and I don't really hunt them because I feel they are like shooting Chicken.
WDSWIFT, not that I'm trying to change your mind on the 6.5-06, but Hornady is making 6.5-.284 brass as well as loaded cartridges. If you go to http://www.midwayusa.com they have them listed under brass.

Hi Dale, what about a Elk hunt in Pa.!! We are having our first Elk hunt this Fall and I think the price is right if you can draw a tag. I think they are $250.00 plus $10.00 for non-resident and are only offering 30 tags this year. I plan on trying anyway.
