Idaho Points System
Idaho is a great state to hunt. I wish they would start a point system like Nevada, they square their points. Example: 1 point would be 1X1+1=2 chances in the drawing 3 points would be 3X3+1=10 chances 9 points would be 9X9+1=82 chances This way everybody still has a chance beit increases...- Hoggetter

Yes Utah has a great general season tags left over every year with early dates. Look around in the Fish Lake Forest area, tons of deer to be had with a bow and theres even a few whoppers hanging out solo in the high country. -

I was thinking i am only going to be able to get a cow tag off the B list for 3rd season, because i am going to already have a ES archery elk tag for september. So has anybody seen alot of cow elk over there in any particular places. -

Has anybody hunted CO unit 22 before ??? I have a 3rd season deer tag and was thinking of getting a unlimited bull tag or cow tag. I hunted there once in 1991, They had just started putting in natural gas pump stations, i'm sure they have expanded it and cut more roads for better access. I... -

Mechanical broadheads for elk
I use fixed blades meself. SlickTrick 100gr magnums and easton axis arrows with blazer vanes. They fly like darts out to 80yds. The slicktricks have a all steel body and have four blades. Good luck!
