    I did, but I'm not sure it counts. I killed a bull on the first morning of my first ever hunt. We hunted the rest of the season and didn't see any elk after that. The next year we saw a legal bull and a cow or two preseason but none during season.

    That seems like the worst terms on a 401k I’ve ever heard of. I’d be tempted to agree with you that investing through other means would be better. Just look at and understand the rules of IRA’s (Or whatever your preferred alternative is) and the investment caps on them before you jump ship.

    A quick search on Google found a Savage Axis in 7mm-08 for $270. That's what I would tell him to get. It will work fine and is cheap. Put a reasonable scope on it and you'll be able to kill any deer in West Virginia. Or substitute any of the other calibers they're offered in above 243.

    I use both and have wondered when they would become adversaries. I believe there are legitimate competitors for OnX. The competition for GoHunt is inadequate at best. I find myself with one screen open to GoHunt and one open to OnX while looking for new units.
