    GoHunt Mobile Maps -Release Postponed

I felt like the GoHunt system wasn't ready for prime time when they rolled it out a couple of months ago. I eould rather the system come out right the first and not have to help debug it. Don't get me wrong, its pretty cool, but its not ready to replace any of my other mapping platforms yet.

Breaking Game Laws THEN Uploading It To YouTube?

Mistakes happen when you are dealing with complex laws that change state by state. Having an operation that operates with many moving parts and multiple crews makes it that much more challenging. I appreciate the honesty and forthrightness with which this issue is being handled. It sounds like...

    Elk Coughed, Not Much Blood

That’s a tough deal. Thanks for the update and thanks for punching your tag. That’s the way it should be but is a decision that costs you to make all the same. Stick and move is for boxing, not hunting.

    Spartan Bipod Height

I'm looking for advice on what height to get when buying a Spartan Javelin Lite bipod. They come in mini, standard, and long but for the life of me I can't find the length ranges for these sizes. Im thinking the standard would be the most versatile but have nothing to base this on. Even if I...

    Colorado late season bear

I saw a large boar year before last in early November. If I'd have had a tag, it would have made me happy.

    OnX verse Garmin

OnX works great for me. I love it for scouting and in the field. If you are in an area with no cell service, put your phone in Airplane Mode to save your battery and the gps still works fine...

Ideas on a new barrel for a old workhorse.

PAC-Nor burned to the ground last year. This post prompted me to see if they are back operating again. They just posted this week that they are taking orders again this week. If it was me, with a family heirloom, I wouldn’t rebarrel (if it will be used once or twice a year) or I would go back...

    Would you rather watch?

I think the ribbon dance video would be an appropriate punishment for not being ready to hunt on time. Then nobody would be late to the truck.

    Would you rather watch?

I think moose, caribou, sheep, and goats would qualify as exotics. I prefer hunts I could go on with my buddies (like Cushman said) with only a handful of points. The other hunts are ok mixed in with moderation to spice it up.

    After the Kill

I’ve heard a spray of citric acid keeps the flies off but I’ve never wanted to tote a spray bottle in my pack. Idea is to have dry crystals in the bottles and add water when you’re ready. Heard of it, never tried it.

    Would you rather watch?

I'm just wondering how others perceive the choices on TV and YouTube.

    Dry Ice and Coolers

The expansion ratio for dry ice is 8.3 cubic feet of CO2 gas per pound of dry ice. That means 1 pound of dry ice will become approximately 250 quarts when it sublimates. If you pack 5 pounds of dry ice in a 70 quart cooler, you’re packing 17 times the volume of the cooler into it. I would not...
