Depends on which section of the state you're in and if it's private or public.
14 !
With CWD in the north central unit, you can now kill 4 bucks and 5 does on public, or 10 does on private.
Most of the state is 3 bucks, 5 does. The Southeast zone is only 2 does.
Daily bag limit on bucks...
Personally, I've never got the teardrop style. If I'm going to hook up and tow a trailer around it's going to be something I can at least stand up in. And the pop-ups usually are made with some type of fabric with a life span, and what are you saving a few bucks on fuel.
I'd do a cargo...
Congrats! that's a stud!
Me, wife and daughter use the same onX login without issue, you won't see the other tracks until they are all saved and synced with service. It definitely helps see where you have and haven't been when grid searching.
I've started my son using the gohunt maps since I...
I don't think so.
If I recall correctly, which I may not, cause I put in alot of states. You will put in your application and it will give you an attach code. Your buddy logs in and selects group and uses your attach code. It will auto fill the hunt choices for him to match yours.
If one...

Sounds like maybe because you're a new hunter you want to start with turkey instead of big game?
If you just want to shoot something to progress your hunting and are willing to travel, get an easy draw either sex deer tag in a neighboring state and go shoot a small doe or whatever is legal.

And like someone mention, if its frozen a little in the middle just keep cooking and breaking off the thawed parts.
Or throw the whole frozen bag in a insta pot and boom! (wife would have to answer on cook time)
For steak, chops, and fish, we try to freeze thin to thaw in water, I...
onX for mapping, Go hunt for research, maybe I'm just used to it that way.
I use gohunt maps occasionally on desktop because I like the elavation band feature.
My gohunt maps aren't going unused though, I gave my son the login so he can learn it and I don't have to worry about him screwing...
(Fort Bliss/Mcrgregor Range)
Does anyone have coordinates for the designated campsites?
Do any of the phone mapping apps have the actual training area boundaries?
They've only provided a pdf map. we'll make do, but with so many boundaries, it would be nice to see the boundaries on OnX or...
My kids have the F/IM tags for 28 on the McGregor range Jan-6/7. If you want to swap info shoot me a PM. We may see something on your side or vice versa.
Sep 2nd- Got it done opening day archery in Colorado! The morning started off quick, I planned to stalk for mule deer. But a bull bigger than this bugles just a few hundred yards from the ridge I was sitting waiting on daylight. He came straight to my calls but ended just as quick when he got my...
#1 More bears and expanding population, more people, less habitat
#2 Bears aren't hunted, less fear of humans - Can this be proven with data from Alaska maybe? I don't know, but you sure can see a difference in the behavior of deer, black bears, and other critters in areas that are hunted vs...
I don't see the harm in access to more information in a better format. We already have access to the information.
If it's presented in an easy-to-read format and requires less work on my part, then yes it will be easier for others as well. But it's all relative, most guys aren't going to put...
I don't see anything special with the site.
Aren't some of the SWA's residents only or a SWA-specific tag for say elk? Without differentiating NR/R access, it's no help to me as a NR.
Without seeing the points required it's also no help to click on an area to find out it requires more points...
