Subject: A Little Jewish Girl's Love
Little Melissa comes home from first grade and tells her father that they learned about the history of Valentine's Day. "Since Valentine's Day is for a Christian saint and we're Jewish," she asks, "will God get mad at me for giving someone a valentine?"...
Hell HS, I might just bump into in the Selway. I'm planning on hunting that area, or close to it, for about two weeks. 1st I'll do a week of archery (Slinging arrows sounds way to cool) and if no luck I'll let ole' thunderstick have a crack. I'm going to start looking into the other states...
Everyone up for a verse of "We are the world, or Kum ba ya". Can't we all just get along? :( :D ;) 1..2..3..Kum ba ya, my friend, kum......Now, how about a group hug. (Watch your hands Moosie! :D)
Man, if you and Greeny don't quit shooting all of Yellowstones hand raised bulls, you're going to put them out of buisness.LOL :D
All kinding aside, "Awesome Bull" WW. You more than earned it!! With all that shooting, did you shoot him in the ass first as Kraven suggested? :D :D ;)

Headed out to Danskin today. I did'nt feel like making the drive to Grasmere. Since this my first time on the Mountain I decided to drive around and explore. When I got close to the lookout, I new I went to far for chukar but I was more interested at just looking around. I spoke with a deer...
My daughter and I headed out to Rattlesnake creek yesterday mourning. Hiked up the ridge and found some birds. Actually, my dog found them and busted the covey about 200 yards in front of us. I let her roam out because the walking was slow with my 10 year old daughter. I was more enjoying...
Thanks I37,
I think I'll give Grasmere a try this Saturday. I also hear if you go up Jacks creek(into the canyon)you'll find a lot of chukar. That's what I'm hearing from the deer hunters. I went out yesterday and shot a few quail off one of the WMAs. Not my first choice of hunting spots...
Thanks gents for the input. I've hunted parts of Long Tom, but it sure was steep (on the back side off imigrant road). Back in there is a spot with more chukar than you could shoot in 10 seasons, but it's a walk to get to them (a rough walk). I've heard about Rattlesnake creek but I hav'nt...
Way to cool Moose. Congrats X 3!!!
Of course we owe W.W a big thumbs up! :D
I guess you're going to blame being so pumped up from dropping your bull that you mistakingly put on those faggy pants when you got home! J/J :D :D :D
Hey TK.
Do you want the real secret to finding the big ones? Just wait until the day after deer season, go back out to some of the spots you just spents days walking without seeing a damn thing; then and there you'll find your monster.
A picture says a thousand words, and that pic says...
I've been spending more time looking for places to hunt than I have actually hunting. I missed all of last season(1st season here in Idaho) because I of military reasons. So this is my first year hunting birds in Idaho. And as with any new place, you have to put in your leg work to find your...
To make a long story short:
A lot of walking the first 5 days, no elk.
6th day I found a herd.
7th day, go for a group of bulls I found on the 6th day but get winded by cows I did'nt see :( Bulls ran away.
Next day, go back to where herd was, found them, found 1 bull, shot him, packed him...
Does anyone know where my brother can take his dog and get her into some birds around the Las Vegas area. Not for hunting purposes, but just to get a young pointer around some birds. I know there's a lot of valley quail around but is there any good spots away from the city? I'd say within 100...
1 pointer,
If your passion is upland birds, get a pointing breed.
If you prefer duck hunting, get a lab.
As Ithaca stated, you can teach any dog to stop when they smell birds, but the key words are "YOU can teach". With pointers, it's all instinct. You just fine tune them to your needs...
A no shit true story.
I spent the last few years of highschool in AZ. One winter, I went hunting(camping) with a buddy of mine. His dad had drawn an elk tag and we were tagging along. After a hard days hunt(no elk) we were sitting around the fire when a hunter walked by our camp. We asked...
