    An ode to a knife

I started realizing AI was a thing when I was constantly getting emails about new knives or knives that were on sale. I absolutely love knives! The only problem with having so many different ones is that I don't keep track of them as well, because I can always find one close by. The one I do...

    Tyson vs paul

Tyson bites off half his ear, and the fight is stopped due to a disqualification. The rematch would involve head gear, to protect the ears and out of respect for Tyson being 60 years old

    Tyson vs paul

Father Time is indeed undefeated, and I too think Paul will win by KO, if the fight is legitimate. I don't think there's anything good that can come from this fight. The outcome I would prefer is for Tyson to be the fighter he once was for just half a round, because that would be more than...

    What Stress?

I have the benefit of having State holidays off, and I work 4 ten hour shifts. Thus, with Veteran's Day being Monday, I had myself a 3 day week. Maybe it was the condensed work week resulting in the 30 hours to get 40 hours worth of work done, the nature of the challenges I faced, or (more...

    New scope for a 30/06

The last few I’ve bought have been Leupold VX3HD with the CDS, 4.5-14 x40. I’ve taken game out to 520 yards this year, and the CDS has been spot on. They do have a VIP program, so if you’re military, LE, or a Hunter’s Ed instructor, you may qualify for some savings there

    Thank You Veterans!

My wife and I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit the past few years. We've been close to Belgium a couple times, and tried to work in a visit to Flander's Fields. We will definitely make it one of these days. It'll be awesome to be on that hallowed ground! You're exactly right, we can...

    Thank You Veterans!

I was introduced to "In Flander's Fields" around 25 years ago, and really didn't appreciate its significance until the last few years. I too try to share it with as many people as I can. Thank you for sharing it today! Thank you to all who took the opportunity to serve and to sacrifice, and a...

    Football General Talk

Purely by chance, I became a Raiders fan in the late 70s. There were some good years. By 2000, I became a more serious hunter. I couldn't have imagined what a great choice the Raiders would be. Believe me, I haven't felt guilty about hunting on Sunday and missing any of their games, because...
