I see your dilemma, to me it would be different if you were hunting a tank that is holding water vs. hunting a tank that you are hauling water to. I’ve never heard of “baiting” with water but it begs an interesting question. Trust your gut, and maybe ask your local game warden his thoughts.

Yes, some older cottages that were not protected by current dune line’s fell victim to a bad nor’easter we had a couple weeks ago. They were already likely uninhabitable prior to the storm though.
We own a North Face wawona 6. Good headroom, plenty of room to sleep 4, and the “foyer/mud room” is a really nice feature. Have also slept in a Kodak canvas and that thing is bombproof, and has lots of nice storage features. Happy hunting!
There are elk in 7. I’ve found them deep in the rawahs, I’ve found them right next to the Laramie river road. Like most places you stand the best chance if you can find quality habitat that is not under heavy pressure, but don’t overlook good spots that are somewhat in plain sight. Happy to...
