    I'd guess the majority of outfitters make most of their income from Elk & Deer hunters. The BIG 5 clients are icing on the cake.

    The wind farm turbines kill far more birds than birds ingesting lead does. The greenies and anti hunters don't want to talk about that though.

    Wyoming G&F does an outstanding job managing our wildlife resources, they always have. The problem is managing the hunters.

    I went into the drawing without high hopes, so I applied for the hardest (and supposedly the best) tags for Antelope, Deer and Elk. I figured I had a snowball's chance, so I didn't even look until an hour and a half ago. Antelope=unsuccessful...Deer=unsuccessful and then ELK=Successful. Area...

    I've seen a lot of that in 47 and 48. Outfitters posting BLM as private.

    Later in the season, like the middle of October the big antelope bucks magically appear. I saw some dandy antelope bucks up high...really up high, while Elk hunting there. They were in places you'd never expect to see antelope. The bigger bucks ain't dumb.
