Understand where you're coming from. The localities you mentioned span multiple forests, and generally outfitters are only permitted to operate on one forest, or even district. Outfitters also seem to not be very into drop camps or one way pick ups, it's not as profitable as having clients.
Likely bigger than 700 acres at this point. Maybe burning in recently twice burned, so perhaps keeping severity down a bit. Hope the fire history keeps it constrained some.
These maneuvers are done at low speed and only a few hundred feet off the ground, there is already little room for error on a calm day. Wind speed can be drastically higher just off the ground, so 200 feet AGL it is likely much higher than 60 mph. And then the retardant or water gets dispersed...
I should have included it in the first post, but the Situation Report from NIFC. It is sort of a internal summary of what is going on across the country with respect to fires. There may be a bit of interpretation and reading between the lines, so can't take everything always at face value...

"The Forest Service currently allows e-bikes on all Forest Service roads that are already open to motorized vehicles, as well on 60,000 miles of motorized trails, which represent 38%...
One of my absolute favorite spots I've ever had the pleasure of spending the night. I was lucky enough to share tent with my wife and pup.
I do regret not having a better phone sometimes.
@Hem Thanks for starting this thread. I'm really enjoying going through my old pictures and seeing other's adventures! It's a great distraction from the politics.
