WY Wilderness Rule ?
I think tag prices will have a bigger impact on future(and current) hunters than not being allowed in wilderness areas. The rule is dumb but it is what it is unfortunately. You can still fish and hunt small game in wilderness areas though correct? -

That is starting to get up there in price, but a lot of states when you combo them together for deer/elk are not far off, however the individual elk or deer lisc fees are crazy high. To apply or not to apply... That is the question.
I think you should first determine what your end goals are, if they are just to hunt elk, deer, antelope and not worry about trophies then I would not buy any points as you can get otc/left over tags from a handful of states for those 3 species. NR - AK unguided sheep/goat/bear
Kind of depends on the raffle ticket cost but if they where something like $10 ea. I'd throw a couple hundred at them just like I do a couple other states. Might even go more just because of the higher populations up there and only way to get a grizz if a guide wasn't required for the raffle winner.- blb078

Whats our President trying to do to us gun buyers/owners
It's not a bad idea, the problem with it is that a drivers license is a privilege provided by the citi/state. Where as owning a gun is a constitutional right so that is something anyone wanting a test type law will have to deal with. I'm all for keeping guns away from people who shouldn't have... -

guiding or not???
Sounds like a scouting service, I've seen a few of them on the web and from what I know they were not licence guides. They're a great thing to use for someone like me in the midwest who can not get out and pre scout and area.- blb078
