I think these are the ones he is talking about that fit perfectly inside the Vortex Defender series scope caps. I have a small sheet taped to my stock, but I have to adjust it all the time for temperature and elevation.
SO not only is the day of the dammned, really.... uggg (GO VOTE PEOPLE!!!!)
But today is Montana's birthday, and my last day of work till the 21st! Packing up tonight, hitting the road in the morning for NE Montana for some good old hunting! Cant wait to see old friends and family, plus put a...
I know, I also keep a close eye on pressure signs and havent even gotten to book max load before I found a load I liked. Once I get the chrono I will definitely be playing more at the range.
I start as long as the gun allows, then work my way back groups of five rounds. I load 5, back the seating die 1/2 turn, measure and write it down. I then work my way through the ranks between the two best loads. i also start shooting with the shortest ones first, if I find the depth I like, I...
want to shoot a 40 inch buck, start applying to the Henrys here in Utah, the strip in AZ, putting in every year at the hunt expo, and save every penny you can, pay the "man" get the tag and shoot it.

3 more hours till work is done... go home, change throw the coolers in the pickup and hit the road, 118 miles to my camper..... this is the longest work day this week! haha
I have the etrex20, and take 1 set of lithium AA's for every 2 days of hunting. They don't weigh much or take up lots of space. Plus if I turn down the brightness and don't play around much I can get a set to last me a week.
Need more information.
Typically, kill an animal, bone it out and put it in coolers, keep hunting. Are you days/many hours from home? Are you close to a processor/home?
I use a 3 led head lamp usually. I also have a 3 D cell mag light with led in the pickup. I usually have my sure fire in my pack, 2 years old and same original batteries, still going strong. But then again I don't use them as much as most.
