Gutless is very easy to do on a bear. I skinned this Oklahoma bear gutless on the side of a steep ridge. Got dark on me about halfway through the process.

I wish I could have ended up with the duck decoys my grandpa duck hunted with before I was born. I really like the old wood ones. I buy them when I can but how cool to have some handed down.
I hunted there a few years ago. Had success on a smallish antelope but overall saw very few antelope. There is definitely a lot to learn when hunting on rez land.
As a taxidermist I don't see any reason not to graft/patch in a piece of color matching hide from different elk hide. Even if you get another cape donated to you that would involve a completely different mounting job and I highly doubt the taxidermist wants to mount another elk for free.

I have been interested in Ibex in Spain. There are different sub species so not real educated on that or Spain in general. Sounds like a good time. Have thought about taking my wife someday and visit Spain while hunting there.
