The allocation discussion went all over the map.. definitely a bit of confusion about how the system even works among the commission members. In the end they committed to look into options without adding additional units, which seems to mean, nothing is going to happen.
To the OP, keeping that cash in an account that is accessible when times gets rough would be the best use of funds IMO... cause who knows when tough times will come, right?

Sadly, a large percentage of American Universities were near the breaking point before all this went down. Those without huge bankrolls and generous boosters will likely not make it.
Isn't anyone nervous enough about the next 12 months enough to save the money? I plan for a year from now, so I'll hold onto whatever I get to cover mortgage while potentially unemployed
Yep, my first rifle was a Rem 7400 .308. Still driving tacks after 30 years and it's nowhere near the weight of most ar styles I have shot. Can't go wrong with one in my opinion.
